Finally a post from our new home in Ohio!

Okay friends and family, I know you have been waiting almost a year for this much needed update of our family and it's adventures. Over the past....11 months, I would sit down at my laptop to work on updating. Of course I would get interrupted by children and life. They longer it took for me to update the easier it was to NOT do it. So instead of going back to August of 2009 and telling you everything I am going to give you the basics and then start from today.

Last August 2009, the kids and I traveled from our home in England to our temporary home with my family in Henderson, Nevada. We stayed there from August 2009 until January 2010. Greg left England the same day as the kids and me but he went to training in Georgia. He was there from August 2009 until mid December 2009. He then joined us for the holidays. In January we arrived in Dayton, Ohio. Our new assignment at Wright-Patterson AFB. We have enjoyed getting settled in our fantastic home. We have loved exploring our new town. The kids all just finished the 2009-2010 school year. We are looking forward to a lazy fun summer. Dennis and Caitlin will be here for five weeks this summer. We are planning camping trips, and trips discovering more of Ohio, Indiana, and other surrounding areas. If you are near Ohio, please give us a call. We have plenty of room and would love to see any and all of our friends and family. Here is my beautiful, straight A, 9 year old, girl lovin', sport lovin' , long haired Kaleb. Greg tells Kaleb that he is gong to come into his room in the night and chop his hair short......I think he is

so handsome....so do all the 9, 10, ans 11 year old girls in the neighborhood. He has always been a ladies man.

And here is my princess, Sophia. She is a kindergarten graduate and proud of it. I can't believe that she is going to be 6 next month. She is always dancing and singing.....singing at the top of her lungs. She still loves to be dressed up but at the same time wants to be involved in everything the boys and her dad are doing. She is full of drama and attitude.....I have no idea where that comes from. I can't wait to see what the future brings for her.....have I created a monster?

So that is a little glimpse in our current life. I have some photos of the inside of the house I will post in a day or two. I will also post some cute photos of my other two beings....intelligent Isaac, my 11 year old....how'd that happen.....and Little Liam, who's not so little and who's favorite saying right now is "Mommy, I said I am so sorry!" Family Photos in Bury!

We had our photos taken yesterday in Bury St. Edmund's. It is one of our most favorite towns here in England. There is this great lady in our ward that does fantastic work and we just love the photos she did. The kids did well other then a small tantrum at the end from our little Liam. And the weather worked great just a little sprinkle and a bit of sunshine.

Okay so after many comments from friends and family and even my own children I am finally going to post. I wish I could be better like others and post more often....Lets make that a goal. So get ready this is going to be a long one....

Well Greg finally returned home on the 6Th of February. He flew right into Mildenhall base. We had big colorful signs and lots of balloons. The kids were so excited. He flew in at night and this night was extremely foggy. on the way home from the base Greg told us that as they were approaching the pilot was worried they would have to turn back and go to Germany because he could not see the runway. After two approaches they finally landed. I am so grateful for that. Well Greg got home on a Thursday night and we enjoyed a long awaited weekend. The following Tuesday I was having some kidney pain. I went into the ER that night. For the next four weeks or so I was in and out of the hospital on base and in Cambridge for kidney stones. I am so grateful that this did not happen until Greg returned home because even though I have great friends here to help me it was wonderful for the kids to have their dad. Greg's work was wonderful to give him a good amount of time off.

On February 28Th Our family was sealed in the London Temple. My mom was able to travel from Las Vegas to be with us. We also had some very close Friends from Germany come over to celebrate with us. We were supported by many families in our ward. It was a day I will never forget and even now as I think of it tears come to my eyes.

Kaleb was baptized by his dad last month. It was so amazing to see my second son enter the waters of baptism with his dad. He was so proud. My kids are growing so fast before I know it I will be sending them off on missions.....please let the time until then go slow

Greg is back to work and kids are all back to school after a nice relaxing Spring Break. Our Easter was quiet and uneventful. I am still struggling with my health. The doctors are frustrated not being able to figure out why I am producing mass amounts of stones, but they are trying to keep me monitored and comfortable. I have such an amazing husband and kids that help me out so much.

We are supposed to be leaving England in July. We don not know where we are going yet. We are just waiting to find out if Greg has been accepted to a program with in the Air Force. We are looking forward to coming home to Las Vegas this summer to be with friends and family. Enjoy the following photos of our Easter Kids

Hey Everyone-

I have been a bit behind in the blogging world...well actually a bit behind in every aspect of the world but lets not get into that. Anyway I have done a few different post tonight so keep on reading until you come to one you have already read. I hope you are all well and happy this holiday season. So here is our favorite fella. Working hard and having a bit of fun along the way. Greg got to have a thanksgiving feast and play some football.

We get to talk to him almost daily and have even been able to see him a few times on the computer.
We miss him so but we are so proud of him. Isn't he handsome! Well I sure think so. He appreciates all of your support and emails...keep em' coming. Say a little pray for our those that are serving our country not only at this holiday season but each and every day!

So our little Liam loves his cup....whatever is in it he loves to drink, just like his big brother. He makes the cutest faces when he is happily drinking. and of course the more we laugh at him the more he hams it up...just like his mamma
Is he just the most beautiful little man you have ever set eyes on. We just love him so much. He can't wait to get a hold of his daddy for some fun times

Our Little Red Head

I can never get enough photos of this little princess. She can be the highlight of my day and and she can be the cause of my frustrations. She is loving having her hair red....I guess it is lasting a little more than 10 to 12 washes, huh? Oh well I think she is beautiful even if she had no hair at all. What a pretty little princess......

Happy Thanksgiving

Well I can't believe that November is nearly over. Where has the year gone. This last week we had snow and some really cold days here in England. The kids and I are trying to enjoy this season as much as possible as it will be our last in England. I took the kids out to get some photos at a local village church. It was freezing. We had a great Thanksgiving feast with friends. We are spending the rest of the weekend hanging around the house and decorating for the Christmas Season.

The kids are such troopers with me taking photos.....of course bribery is always a must.

Greg has been gone for a while now. We get daily emails from him and he tries to call as often as her can. Here are some photos that he got cleared to let us see. The large mountain is located on site where he is. He climbs it almost every weekend. That is pretty much all there is to do other than work. A few days ago he got to go on a helicopter excercise and shoot some guns. He really like that...playing G I Joe! We miss him so much but are so proud of him and the service he is giving his country. Happy Halloween

Okay so I am so sorry that it has been a while since my last post. With Greg gone I am so busy. By the end of the day when the kids are asleep I should be able to sit down at the computer and update. You would think. Well I usually sit down for a moment of peace and quiet....next thing you know I am fast asleep.
We had a great Halloween. Eating home made chilli and hot dogs, root beer and sharing with friends. We trick or treated for about an hour and then passed out candy at our house. The kids had a lot of fun even though it was cold. Our last Halloween in England.

Isaac was Harry Potter. Kaleb was a Jedi, and Sophia was Dorothy. Yes we dyed Sophia and Isaac's hair. Don't worry it comes out in 10 to 12 washes. Oh and Little Liam was a lion.

Butterflies Nursery

Sophia started back to her British Nursery school ,Butterflies, today. She will be attending everyday except Thursday. She is so excited to be back with all of her friends. We have been trying new hair styles. So this morning she picked out here outfit and helped pack her lunch and sat still while I did her hair...no fussing!

Sophia has five ladies that teach at her school but her favorite is Miss Lisa. Miss Lisa say that everyday Sophia come to school she like to play Beauty Shop . Miss Lisa is her best customer.

I am so glad that all the kids are happy with their schools and their teachers. Now it is just Little Liam and me. They all grow up so fast, I am trying to keep him little as long as possible.

School Rocks!!!

So the boys, Isaac and Kaleb started school last Monday. Isaac is at Liberty Intermediate School. He is in Mr. Moxley's Forth grade class. This will be the first male teacher Isaac has had. He is a very nice man and excited to be teaching Isaac.

Kaleb is at the Lakenheath Elementary School. He is in Mrs. Falkler's second grade class. He is missing having his brother in the same school as him. Kaleb is the tallest kid in his class. He like to watch over all his classmates.

We had a lot of fun walking both boys to school. Their first week was full of old and new friends. Of course Isaac's favorite thing was recess and the SMART board. Kaleb's favorites were Spanish and Golden time (free time.)

We are so lucky to have such smart good looking, well-mannered all around fun boys.

World travelers and maybe possible archers

All of the castles we have see over here in Europe have the little windows with a little seat and long narrow opening. the surround the outter part of each castle. They are archer windows. Soliders used to shoot thier bows and arrows at times of war or any time the fortress or castle needed to be defended.

My kids always want to look throught these windows and see how far they can see. Isaac says he wishes he lived back in the old time and maybe he could have been a knight or maybe an archer. Kaleb would rather be the King and have servents. Sophia....well wether in old time present or in the future she was is and will be the Princess!

Clearwell Caves, Clearwell, Wales

On day three on our Summer trip we traveled back over the bridge to Southern Wales to Clearwell to

the Clearwell caves and mines. We had fun going down into the earth and seeing how they cleared away earth to make tunnels. We got to see really old toold, and old first aide station, dugg out holes the miners used to take their breaks in, and little undergroung ponds that have formed. We saw old track that they used to transpot the raok and dibrie otu of the caves. Kaleb even got to take a try and an old hancranked cart. The kids and dads had fun hiding in little coves and jumping out to scary everyone...especiall mom and sophia because we screamed the loudest.

Castel Coch

Castel Coch was our next stop on our family Vacation.....no i did not mispell Castel...that is how you spell the name of this castle. Any way this castel was build in to the mountain side. It is know to be a fairytale castel. The same family that owned Cardiff Castle owned Castel Coch. It was a holiday home....it is only a thiry minute drive from Cardiff Castle. I guess that would be a long travle if by foot or even horse.

There where many rooms and you could walk freely around the whole castle and grounds

Before even entering the Castel we had to walk across a long actual drawbridge.
The moat below was dry and full of green gras and flowers but the keepers
said come winter the moat will fill up
a bit.

Cardiff Wales

So for our family summer trip we went to southwest England and Southern Wales. We traveled with another family and stayed at an Army Base. One of our first stops was in Cardiff Wales. We went to see one of the largest well kept castles in Wales. The kids had fun running around the grounds. We packed our lunches and ate on the beautiful green grass.
And of course we took tons of photos.
The one below of our little Liam is of him sitting in an archers
window. It is where the would shoot their bows and arrows
at intruders. Isaac and Kaleb both love Dragons.
The red dragon of Wales is everywhere. We bought an
actual stature of the Wales Red Dragon.

Our Littlest Irish Fella

Have you ever seen a more beautiful boy...well you may think you have but at this moment I haven't. Now don't get me wrong my other two boys are very handsome little men, but this boy...oh my am I in love with this little fella. He brings our family such happiness and joy.

A friend of mine in Las Vegas is trying to build his portfolio so he took phots of Liam for me. They all turned out so great I couldn't decide wich was best. Liam is now 10 months old. He is crawling all over the place trying to keep up with the other kids. He is always smiling...seriously always. He is such fun. For those of you wondering his nose is doing fine. It is not getting bigger or smaller at this point...he is just growing into it. It never phases him. We are so lucky to have Liam in our family!

So our little Princess turned the big 4 on Wednesday! We had a little family birthday party for her. She got to pick what we had for dinner....I told here I would make whatever she wanted or we coulf go out. She chose Chicken and fries from Burger King. I swear that girl is going to turn into a chicken nugget! So we ate Burger King...(GROSS).. and ate Pink cake of course and opened gifts. She got two new dolls some Barbies, and a big girl bike...purple of course. I just can't believe she is already four! Time truly does fly by......especailly when you are raising angels. Happy Birthday Sweetness!

Okay so I know that it has been a really long time since my last post. I have had phone calls and emails from my dear friends all over the world telling me to UPDATE MY BLOG! (thanks Alisa!)

So here it is....I went back to Las Vegas for my baby brothers wedding in June. Since plane tickets are so expensive and the boys were not yet done with school I just took Sophia and Liam with me. They were great on the plane. I guess that is one of the good thing about being in the military...my kids sure do travel well. It was a long flight of about 10 hours. We were there for 20 great days....amazingly hot but great. We got to spend alot of time with Nana and Papa, had fun playing with cousins, and did our fair share of shopping.

The wedding of Mitchell and Erin took place in Bountiful Utah and it was beautiful. I feel very lucky to have two great sister in laws! After a good time back home it was hard to leave but I was surely gald to get home to my fellas. They boys had a great time hanging out with dad doing guys stuff.

I am so lucky to have such a great family......on both sides of the pond! We are leaving to go on holiday soon to wales....photos and info on that to follow! Hope you are all well we love you !

Last Friday Greg took Isaac out of school to spend the day in London. They traveled all around the city via the underground. They went to the British museum and some fun toy stores. They checked out the London Bridge and went to Platform 9 3/4. It was a fun father and son day. The photo is of Isaac looking out onto the Thames River near the London Tower.

We took the kids a few weeks ago out to lunch at McDonald's. Liam had his first taste of french fries and still Fanta. He was so excited. When we tried to take them away he threw a huge fit. It was lot of fun to just sit and watch him enjoy

Bath England

After Freezing to death at Stonehenge we traveled a bit to Bath England. The Romans built this town when the came to England in hope of conquering and taking over the country. We visited the Roman Baths. What an exciting adventure this was. Again we had an audio tour and lucky for the kids there was a version just for them....Eva listened to this version too... It was so interesting to learn how they lived...and bathed. We also visited the Abbey and a fun little old fashioned sweet shoppe. We also visited the Fashion Museum...it was stupid. Then we walked and saw many buildings like the Circus...it is tall home and businesses that make a complete circle and the Famous Crescent Drive. This City was amazing and truly a highlight of our trip. Enjoy the photos

Stonhenge

Stonehenge was our first stop on our second day of Spring Break. Upon approaching this historical site we were both impressed and a bit disappointed. Impressed by the vast land surrounding the site and a bit disappointed on the size of the rocks. I guess things are always bigger in our mind. When we got up to the actual site it was FREEEEEEEEZZZZZZING COLD!!!!!!!! After about five minutes listening to the audio tour the kids wanted to go back to the car...but after living three years in this country we know to hold tight when it is cold....eventually you will go numb and not feel to cold! It was neat to hear all the myths and predictions of how and why these amazing rocks came to make Stonehenge. It is something we will never forget.

Spring Break 2008

Hello Friends and Family-

We had a wonderful Spring break. Thursday we traveled from our home to Warwick Castle. This castle is over 1000 years old. It was a towering medieval fortress but also served as a residence to the rich. Winston Churchill was a guest here often. We walk up three different towers. Up and down we walk a total of some 500+ steps. Greg, Isaac Kaleb, and I took a ghost tour...Kaleb freaked out and of course Eva screamed! We met Knights and princesses. It rained a bit off and on but that didn't stop the fun. We met a really nice couple from Scotland on our way out of the castle grounds that gave us some great coupons for the rest of our trip. The enjoyed giving sweets to the kids...for you Yankees ( that is what the British call Americans) sweets are hard candy. After spending the day at the castle we traveled another two hours to Pickwick England to stay at a Royal Air Force Base for the night.

The White Cliffs of Dover

Friday was the boys first day of Spring break and Greg had a goal day, so we decided to head down to the city of Dover. What a busy little town. We visited the Dover Castle and the secret wartime tunnels. It was a beautiful Estate. We walked through the keep are and saw where Henry II, and a few other Henry ect Lived and dined. There was a small chapel with in the Keep that was in very good condition. We also went down in some Medieval Tunnels below the castle. The stairs down below were very steep and cold and dark. We then took a tour through the Secret wartime tunnels. This was a huge highlight for us. These tunnels were carved into the white cliffs of Dover, used during world war II. There was a hospital, a barracks, a mess hall and offices. We went through two of the three different levels. It was really interesting to see smell and even feel some of this amazing history. The kids were all amazed and quite the little troopers with all of the steps and steep slopes. The weather was sunny and quite warm for England. The coast was foggy...whats new. It was a fun day out for us all. enjoy the photos!

Weekend Before Christmas

Hello Friends-

Well it's the weekend before Christmas. We went to the forest with some friends to play on the playgrounds. Man was it frigid. Sunday was a great day at church and after church we played around at the house taking some pictures in our Christmas clothes. The kids are so looking forward to Christmas...Isaac just can't stand it. We hope you are all doing well and looking forward to you family festivities. Know that we love you and miss you all !

We went to the Norfolk Christmas Festival in Sandringham. There was a Christmas Pantomime, a circus and yummy treats. The boys especially likes the mini horses! It was a gret day

Hello to all our loved ones-

Well what a year this has been. It is almost hard to believe it is almost over.

We were able to go home this year . We have been in England for two years now. Going home was wonderfull. It was hot and man did I go shopping! It is amazing how much variety we have in America. Here in England it has become quite cold and icy. The kids are ready for school to be out and enjoy some much needed family time.

So here goes the traditional end of the year family boasting......

Isaac (8 years old) is growing into a little man. He celebrated his 8th birthday on April 24th. He was baptised by his dad in Las Vegas in july. He loved going to see nana and papa for the summer. He was confirmed by his papa. Isaac stays very busy making origami and learning how the world and universe works though science. He is very attentive to his new little brother Liam, constantly wanting to hold him. He has been participating in the third grade chorus program at school.

Kaleb (6 years old) trys so hard to keep up with his big brother Isaac. The two boys are exactly the same size and everywhere we go people think they are twins. Kaleb did indoor soccer again this year and was incredible. We may have the next David Beckham on our hands. Kaleb is excelling in the first grade and loves to read. You can always find him with a ball of some sort in his hands. Even when we were in Las Vegas for the summer, no matter how hot it was outside Kaleb wanted to be out playing.

Sophia (3 years old....going on 25) is our little princess.....our devil princess. This little lady never lets up. She loves her babies.....especially Little Liam...she cant keep here hands of of him. She is constantly dancing around the house in her princess dress uncle mitchel bought here or her ballerina dress. We celebrated he 3rd birthday in Las Vegas and man did she get spoiled. She goes to British Nursery school three mornings a week and just loves it. She is even acquiring a little accent. She refers to mom as MUMMY!

Little Liam (3 1/2 months) Our newest family member brings much joy. Despite all the meds I received during pregnancy Liam was born not only very easily but very healthy. He is full of laughs and smiles. He is very well fed---the little fatty . At about 7 weeks old we discovered that Liam had a hemangioma on his nose. Basically it is a tumor of blood vessels. After many Dr. visits and test he is doing well. We get looks and comments but most people are sensitive. All three of the older kids are very protective of him. He is truly a miracle little man.

Dennis and Caitlin (11 and 8 Years old) Are still living in Logan Utah with thier mom. We were able to spend some time with them this summer. They enjoyed swimming and play with their brothers and sister. They are getting so big. Caitlin will be baptized after the first of the year and this will be Dennis last year in primary before he goes into young men...where does the time go.

Greg celebrated his big 3-0! He is loving living in England. Between work, gong to school full time, going to the states for a class, traveling to Norway for a week for work,helping so much with this kids and the house and being the best husband that I think exist he has been a busy man. He was only in Las Vegas with us for four weeks. He was able to see his parents and Dennis and Caitlin. Greg also stays busy with his church calling as the deacons quorum advisor and assistant scoutmaster

Me ( I am way too pretty to tell my age!) Basically for me this year has sucked....can I say that ! As much of a blessing that Liam is getting him here was a nightmare. From finding out I was pregnant in January to Liams delivery in September I was in the hospital over 20 times....those freaking kidney stones. I was release as primary president in August. Going from three kids to four kids has been quite an adjustment. Luckily my mom was able to be here for Liams birth and to help me adjust to being a mother of four...aaaagggghhhhh!

So there is just a bit about our family. We are very eger to start the year 2008. We miss all of our family and friends that are scattered every where. We hope you are all well and know of our love for you! May our Heavenly Father bless you!
